Between rainy Germany and the dodgy roads of the Moroccan Rif-mountains, on a path usually used for drug-trafficking, a man tries to reach out for his fading love.
With this film I try to sensualize an inner trip to hell by using real incidents which happened on a journey to Morocco. Passing landscapes, the dialogue with a stranger as well as the outof- the-blue appearance of aggressive drivers were arranged to reflect on the traveller's mood. Following the tunnel vision of a protagonist trapped in obsession, I apply strongest confinement in visual form. This also allows me to give special emphasis to the sound track. My approach aims at taking the audience along on a trip while letting them look out of the window as they like.
