A japanese widow is preparing the buddhist celebration for her husband's soul - the hooji. She's waiting for her daughter and son, until a mysterious phone call changes everything.

Film notes

A tale about missing, loneliness and hope. Freely based on an Umezawa Bokusui’s haiku from the 19th century.
