Day of Vengeance
United States | 2011 | 34:58 | Fiction, Live Action
A brazen white supremacist leader is accused of murder. His African-American lawyer is conficted in defending him, because he set the groundwork to let a potential dangerous person free. It all becomes moot when a lone gunman kills a security guard and he’s trapped everyone involved in the lawyer's office.
What makes Day of Vengeance’s storytelling different from many short films is that it is made in the genre of old cliffhanger TV, told in four separate episodes. It captures the true essence of independent guerrilla film-making, having been self-financed and produced on a shoe-string budget.
