The town of Templeton, Iowa, is known for its rich farmland, German Catholic heritage, and a tradition that traces its origins back to the days of Prohibition.
This television special was made exclusively for Iowa Public Television to coincide with the premiere of Ken Burns' film Prohibition. It was made out of cut footage from the movie Capone's Whiskey: The Story of Templeton Rye
