It is then and there, when we are face to face with death, that we feel most alive.
The inspiration for this short film came when writer-director, Enrique Rovira, walked past a funeral gathering just outside a small Victorian house in London: “The sight of the spotless hearse, covered with a beautiful bouquet of white lilies, and the impeccably dressed gatherers, who were quietly mourning, smoking and murmuring amongst themselves, struck me immediately. I find there is just as much beauty in death as it is in life. Most people live their entire life trying not to think about death when, ironically, it is only because of death that life is really interesting.”
