The Once and Future Bride
United States | 2011 | 26:24 | Fiction, Live Action
While choosing a wedding dress, a young woman, her best friend and her mother explore the meaning behind making life choices. Combined with the story of a young teen bride, the mother accidentally ingests a hallucinogenic and we learn the mystery behind her concern. In the end everyone realizes.... people just choose in life, then move on.
Inspired by visits to several bridal stores, this short comedy explores the joy, dysfunction and wild expectations that everyone has about weddings, and marriage. Each bride has a different journey, which comes from their own past or present, as well as from their own family members. Bottom line, the film is really a peek into a moment in time.
