Confronted by a recurring, more or less acute, food crisis, according to which year, the people of Kononga in the north of Burkina-Faso depend principally on the rain for their survival.
In this region of the world the effects of desertification have existed for generations, the population, without any outside help, is unable to reverse this natural process by themselves.
