Jeanne and Frances are two friends who share a nice apartment in the center of a small town in northern Italy. They are young, pretty, have a great job, a boyfriend, and even a dog ... If it were not for a corpse in the living room which they don't know how to discard, they would really have a perfect life and worthy of being living ....

Mai così…Vicini! E’ una favola surreale, grottesca. Protagonisti sono una serie di “mostri” della porta accanto; quelli, “che non diresti mai…”, quelli “che non te l’aspetti”, che un bel giorno si alzano, si lavano i denti e uccidono senza nessuna esitazione. Senza nessun rimorso. Lo spunto è ce lo da cronaca, che forse, più che del precariato di sentimenti e azioni dovrebbe occuparsi del folle quotidiano che ci accomuna, tutti.
