This film originated as a theatrical skit at the University of Queensland's Medical Revue. It was only ever entered in two competitions (both in Australia) winning awards at both, including one first prize. The film was also shown in a non-competitive capacity at the 2002 London Comedy Festival. It was the first film for it's creator Damien Daniel.
