In 2059, two apathetic friends run the night shift in a 24 hour convenience store. Steve likes the chinese girl who works the day shift, but in spite of encouraging signs from her, he won't - or can't - act. Instead, he and Robert discuss their views on life, their fear of going out in the daytime and what the future has in store.
