Blind Date

Synopsis
A love-damaged actress, who won’t admit she still yearns for the real thing, must eliminate the opposition to make love work on her terms.

Film notes

Director's Statement:

Movies should have a message, which is best delivered when the film is fun.

Real love, even if it’s found in unexpected places, is still real love - rare, precious, and to be respected.

Blind Date’s subtle theme is wrapped in an old-fashioned Doris Day type movie. The world is bright, the people are beautiful, misunderstandings abound, and no matter how much we try to harden our hearts, we can’t escape being romantics, wanting that ideal love. And sometimes there’s justice too - when you toy with love, you can end up with who you deserve instead of who you want.

Blind Date is a little bit of message and a lot of fun, which I hope leaves the audience feeling just a bit happier on the way out than they did on the way in.
