Tea & Poison
Korea, South | 2005 | 35:00 | Documentary
Having begun to distrust his wife, Young-min ultimately installs a hidden camera and witnesses the scene of his wife's infidelity. He goes to Kyungju to meet with the Buddhist monk who one day gave him the Mask of Chuyong (representing generosity). When waking up after drinking tea offered by the monk, Yong-min goes back in time before his wife has the affair. Inspired from the "Chuyong Song" that deals with the virtue of forgiveness, the film reinterprets in a modern way the suspicion, understanding and the process of forgiveness.
