Film notes

This short film is a self production realized by the director who, with a 1000 euros budget, has put together a cast, a crew and technical equipment. In three days of shooting, this experience has made possible thanks to the friendly and unpaid collaboration of some members, so becoming the first author's professional work. The short film is a surreal and melancholic comedy, which combines two themes such the awareness of human mortality and our daily choices. The main topic is attraction and fear of freedom felt by man, who is ready to change his own life through daily choices or to follow routine, that he accepts as immutable until the day he will be gone. These themes becomes paradoxes in the film because of the main character: the Death. This character is at a crossroads and he will have to decide to accomplish his mission or not. Among attempts of suicide, blackmails, encounters with ghosts and old schoolmates, everything seems to be different and new but it must keep in our mind that, even if it is never not too late, death is always around the corner.
