Bamberger Kurzfilmtage

Bamberg Short Film Festival

Established in 1980, the annual Bamberg Short Film Festival has three awards. As a special "Audience Award" besides of a financial remuneration the winner receives a statue of the "Bamberger Reiter" made out of chocolate ("The Bamberg Horseman", one of the symbols of the town). Specials, extra programmes within walking disance as well as close contact to filmmakers or actors from shortfilms shown on the festival complete this event.
