Braunschweig International Film Festival

Founded in 1986 as a non-profit organization, the audience-oriented Braunschweig International Film Festival presents its 22,000 visitors with about 170 full-length and short films annually. The emphasis lies on contemporary European productions. First screenings, international highlights, retrospectives, and portraits gives the audience and the press ample scope for new discoveries on five screens.
