Short Shorts Film Festival Asia
Short Shorts Film Festival (SSFF) began in Tokyo in 1999 and introduced 'short film' to the Japanese audience for the first time, and it has since become one of the biggest festivals for short films in Asia.
In 2004, SSFF was recognized by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences as a qualifying festival in the short film category for the annual Academy Awards(R).
