Australia’s only Academy®Award accredited and BAFTA recognised short film festival, and Australia's largest short film competition, screens for 10 days under the summer stars at Bondi Beach, with a selection of films heading off after the festival around Australia on a 40 venue national tour.

We also select a number of short films for special showcases outside of competition. After the main Sydney festival we tour a number of short film programmes across Australia. Flickerfest seeks exciting and creative shorts that celebrate independent story telling from the worlds most inspiring new film makers.
