Chicago International Film Festival

Annually featuring the best short films from around the globe, the short film program highlights the work of both upcoming artists and established masters in the short subject genre. The short films that exhibit the highest level of excellence are included in the Short Film Competition, judged by a panel of local film professionals. The winner of the Short Film Competition is eligible to be considered by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences for the Academy Award®.
