Wisconsin Film Festival

This four-day annual festival takes place each spring in eight to ten campus and downtown Madison theaters, all within walking distance. The Festival presents the best new independent film (feature, documentary, experimental) and world cinema, and showcases the work of Wisconsin filmmakers. In 2008, 220 films and an attendance of 30,028 made this a lively event that's become a major part of our state's cultural calendar. Our audience appreciates and welcomes short films.
