DOK Leipzig: International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film

Founded in 1955, DOK Leipzig is the biggest German and one of the leading international festivals for documentary and animated films. DOK Leipzig presents up to 400 films from 50 countries. The Festivals comprises of four competitive programmes, a broad international programme, an annual retrospective, several special programmes and hommages and master-classes with famous film-makers. The awards donated at DOK Leipzig amount to 58,500 Euro.
